We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Marketing & Product Management department at Power-Packer and wants to contribute to our renewed brand strategy! Do you like to get involved into the actual day-to-day business of analyzing the strategic portfolio and life cycle management for the global Power-Packer brand?
The project
Being a global market leader in a hydraulic niche market for 50 years requires fundamental and extensive knowledge of products, applications and the market. It is because of these 50 years of experience and expertise that our high demanding Tier1 and OEM customers rely on Power-Packer for many (tailor-made) solutions.
Customer requests are becoming increasingly complex and both the technology and the market are constantly evolving. Failure to keep abreast of these developments and not knowing where the competition is headed can lead to wrong important strategic choices, with potentially disastrous consequences for the future of the company.
In order to stay ahead of the competition, it is therefore essential to map and understand the competition, the market and the available products in the market. This will allow Power-Packer to continue to provide a competitive product offering in the future.
In this internship, you apply the latest business models to analyze the competitive position in one of our markets. With your work you provide a strategic analysis and expose important market information. This allows to substantiate strategic choices and actively contribute to the strategic development and future growth of Power-Packer.
Your qualifications
You are available for a minimum period of 4 months
You are an enthusiastic student (HBO/ WO) in a commercial or technical field.
You are fluent in both English and Dutch
You are able to work independently and responsibly, with strong analytical skills
You are open to investigate and highly passionate about getting the right information
You are not afraid to give your honest, unrestrained input and your innovative ideas!
You are a real team player and an assertive asset to the team
